하나님의 영광을 위하여, 휴스턴새생명교회는 헌신된 그리스도인이 되어 하나님을 예배하고 휴스턴과 세상을 향하여 그리스도의 복음을 전하도록 신자들을 구비시킨다. 21세기의 새시대 속에서 우리의 사명을 완수하기 위하여 다음과 같은 전략으로 준비된 교회가 되어 모두 제자로 세워 은혜의 복음의 빛을 비취도록 한다:

이와같이 복음의 진전은 하나님 왕국의 전략적인 전개와 기도의 결과로서 휴스턴으로부터 진원지가 되어 점차적으로 세상을 향하여 나타날 수 있게 한다:
- 좁은 지역으로(휴스턴)
- 지역적으로(텍사스)
- 나라안에서(미국)
- 국제적으로(세상)
새생명교회의 지도력은 성경적인 적합한 훈련 계획을 통해 건강한 그리스도인을 만들고 예수 그리스도의 지식과 은혜 안에서 구현하도록 헌신한다. 결과는 다음의 네 가지 주요사역을 통해서 나타난다:

- 오직 교제
- 오직 선교
휴스턴새생명교회의 신자와 가족은 성경과 기도로 구원자와 관계를 가지며 시간과 물질과 봉사로 섬기며 영원히 하나님을 영화롭게 하며 그를 기뻐하도록 헌신한다.
For God’s glory, Houston New Life Church(HNLC) is committed to equipping Christians to worship God and reach Houston to reach the world for Christ. To fulfill our mission in the new millennium, Houston New Life Church desires to be an “EQUIPPING CHURCH” which radiates the Gospel of grace by “making disciples” through:
- Gospel Ministries of Evangelism and Discipleship
- Gospel Church Growing Initiatives and Church Revitalization Efforts
- Gospel Leaders Developed and Deployed
- Gospel Deeds of Love, Mercy and Justice
These Gospel tremors from the epicenter of Houston would then result in a prayerful and strategic extension of the Kingdom of God:
- Locally (Houston)
- Regionally (Texas)
- Nationally (United States)
- Internationally (The World)
The leadership of HNLC is committed to implementing a biblical “fitness plan” designed to produce “healthy” Christians and families who are “growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ,” resulting in a church that is Four Solar Ministries:
- Sola Scriptura
- Solar Liturgia
- Sola Koinonia
- Sola Kerygma
As HNLC members and families commit themselves biblically and prayerfully to a relationship with their Savior, entrusting themselves, their resources and gifts to a Faithful Creator [1 Peter 4:19], we will GLORIFY GOD AND ENJOY HIM FOREVER.
